The one stick fire is a great way to save resources and start an effective fire.
1. Take one stick of fat wood and scrape off a quarter sized pile of fat wood NOTE: Use the spine of your knife NOT the blade
2. Baton the stick into smaller pieces
3. Use a Ferro Rod or Lighter (your choice) to light the scrapings
4. Place the remaining pieces on the fire and add your tinder.
Enjoy your single stick fire.
